Project Summary

Humane Productions are the people behind The Mind Behind It Podcast. They were a new business and needed some assistance with putting their website together on Squarespace.

After successfully winning their bid on the freelancer platform, Airtasker, a call was initiated to get a better understanding of the intent behind the website, what content they wanted to be put onto the website, and if there was a particular brand they wanted the design to align to.

By using this information and their feedback, I was able iteratively design and deliver a website that met their requirements within 48 hours.

48 hour turnaround

The first draft of the website design was completed within 24 hours, with the final version completed within 48 hours.

Co-Creation with Stakeholders

Humane Productions were heavily involved with the design process, with any feedback actioned on almost immediately.

Alignment to Brand Identity

The website design was aligned to the colour scheme and typography of existing content on their social media sites.

The Process

01.

Requirements Gathering

A call was scheduled with one of the co-founders to get a better understanding of their business, what they want their website to showcase, and if they have any specific content they would like on their site.

02.

Lo-Fi Prototype Mockup

After receiving the copy and content that they would like on their site, a lo-fi mockup of the webpages were created to design the high level information architecture and user interface.

03.

Iterative Co-creation

The lo-fi mockup is translated to website design on Squarespace. After the completion of each page, feedback is requested from the team for sign off, or to make any further changes.

04.

Handover & Completion

Once the team was satisfied with the website design, a showcase was conducted to received verbal and written sign off for the project.  The website was then handed over to the team.
